Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Beijing arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 2 Beijing

-Tiananmen Square ( now the largest city plaza in the world. )
-Forbidden City ( one of the world’s 5 most important palaces )
-Summer Palace ( the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. )

Day 3 Great Wall Hiking

-Jinshanling Great Wall ( On route, you have chance to see some featured towers, such as General Tower, Large Jinshan Tower, Flower Tower, Corner Tower, etc. )

Day 4 Beijing & Flight to Xian

-the Temple of Heaven ( a site used to pay homage to Heaven and pray for good harvests )
-Beijing Hutongs ( small alleys made by neighboring quadrangle dwellings )

Day 5 Xian

-Terracotta Warriors and Horses ( one of the greatest man-made wonders in the world )
-the Ancient City Wall ( the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China )
– Bell Tower ( a famous landmark of Xian ancient city )

Day 6 Xian

-Great Mosque ( a tranquil and historic mosque that has served Xian’s Muslim community for more than a millennium. )
– Big Wild Goose Pagoda ( the symbol of the old-line Xian, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists.)

Day 7 Drive to Longsheng from Guilin

-Longsheng Rice terraces ( a trekking tour passing through the awe-inspiring Longji terraced rice fields, watching Yao minority women showing off their super long hairs.)

Day 8 Hiking the Li River

– Li River ( a must-do for any Guilin tourists and a mile-long natural gallery. )
– Yangshuo (the paradise of Guilin.)

Day 9 Guilin & Flight to Shanghai

-the Elephant Trunk Hill ( the city symbol )
-Reed Flute Cave ( to see the beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and stone flowers with various shapes.)

Day 10 Shanghai

– Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center ( a must-see for all true Shanghainophiles to witness how Shanghai became a cosmopolitan city from a shabby fishing village.)
-Yu Garden, a pleasant enough ( well-contained classical Chinese garden, and savor some local flavor snacks at the Yu Garden Bazaar )
-French Concession ( to appreciate its old French-style villas and special colonial culture.)

Day 11 Shanghai Departure

-Bund (to witness Shanghai’s skyline, and stroll along China’s No.1 shopping street, Nanjing Road.)
-Jinmao Tower ( to get an amazing bird’s eye view of this metropolis )
-Jade Buddha Temple ( the largest jade Buddha in the world and exquisite religious artifacts.)
