Day01 Arrival in Shanghai

Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.

Day02 Shanghai

Shanghai Museum: The scope, depth and quality of its collections, and the striking architecture and use of modern technology make the Shanghai Museum one of the most famous if not the most famous in China.
Yuyuan Garden: Yu Garden is composed of six scenic areas: Sansui Hall, Wanhua Chamber, Dianchun Hall, Huijing Hall, Yuhua Hall, and the Inner Garden.The highlights of the garden are: classical Chinese architecture, exquisite sculptures and carvings, and the busy Yuyuan bazaar.

Huangpu River cruise: When cruising at night, you can enjoy the most extraordinary sights.

Day03 Shanghai – Huangshan

High-speed train to Huangshan.
Tunxi Old Street：Tunxi Ancient Street formed its scale in Song Dynasty and became the goods collecting and distributing center of Huizhou.

Day04 Huangshan

Cable car up to Mt. Huangshan.
Overnight on the mountain.

Day05 Huangshan – Suzhou

Cable car down the moutain.
Hongcun Village： A beautiful ancient village located to the southwest of Yellow Mountain. Adorning with peaceful Chinese countryside sights, Hongcun Ancient Village is hailed as “a village in Chinese painting”, but what makes it special is the village’s interesting ox-like architectural composition.
Overnight train to Suzhou.

Day06 Suzhou

Pick up at railway station.
Tiger Hill：enjoys a reputation as ‘the first scenic spot in the State of Wu’, for Suzhou was once the capital of the State of Wu during the Spring and Autumn Period.
Humble Administrator’s Garden: The Humble Administrator’s Garden was originally built in 1509 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It was initially a private garden of a former government servant named Wang Xianchen. It was said that Wang was frustrated in his official career, so he intended to build a garden after retire and just do some gardening work like planting trees and cultivating vegetables there.
Garden of the Master of the Nets：As one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou City, the Garden of Master-of-the-Net is the one with most artistic features and cultural values. It is a typical private garden composed by residence and gardening.

Day07 Suzhou – Zhouzhuang – Suzhou

Zhouzhuang Water Town：Enjoys its good reputation as “the first water town in China”. To some extent, it is on par with Venice in Italy, recounting its thousand-year history, displaying its gentle spirits, unique human landscapes and unsophisticated folk customs.

Day08 Suzhou – Hangzhou

Free time in the morning.
High-speed train to Hangzhou. Railway station-hotel transfer.

Day09 Hangzhou – Beijing

Six Harmonies Pagoda: It was believed that any unwanted natural phenomenon could be subdued by the building of pagodas, according to Buddhist understanding.
Lingyin Temple: One of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China.
West Lake: ‘Sunny water waves its glow,
Misty rain tricks the hill.
Plainly or gaily decked out like Xi Zi,
West Lake is always alluring.’
These are the words composed by the famous Song Dynasty poet Su Dongpo (960-1127). In this poem, he compared the West Lake to Xi Zi, one of the four beauties in ancient China.

Day10 Beijing

Badaling Great Wall：the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing District.
Sacred Way：A collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty of China.
Bird’s Nest (drive by)：officially the National Stadium, was jointly designed by architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron of Herzog & de Meuron, project architect Stefan Marbach, artist Ai Weiwei, and CADG which was led by chief architect Li Xinggang.

Day11 Beijing

Tiananmen Square：”Gate of Heavenly Peace” , a gate in the wall of the Imperial City, was built in 1415 during the Ming dynasty.
Forbidden City：The former seat of Imperial Chinese Dragon Throne from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty.

Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

Day12 Departure from Beijing

Summer Palace： a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing.
Hotel-airport transfer & see you off. A nice journey home!
